john's turn

April 19th, 2003

Ok…Andy had his turn, but what about John’s gear. What are his favorite basses to practice, record and perform with? What are his favorite amps and effects? Also will we see the trademark blonde streak on this tour? GC

Here is some recent news on JT’s stuff from his own “guitar guy”:

“John recorded this album with his Music man bass, Ashdown preamp,& Markbass amplification and cabinets. For the tour JT’s main basses will be the Esh sovereign fretted and fretless. We will also bring one Re-issue Aria JT’ signature SB1000 bass, and one other spare of JT’s choice, possibly a status bass or steinberger bass.

Johns bass amp rig is: 1 korg tuner, 1 Roland SDE 1000 delay,1 furman light/power supply, & several markbass amps & cabinets.”
