Hi Katy, I have a question for Nick and John or anyone - What do you think of some of the Birmingham legends that came before you, particularly The Moody Blues, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin? I remember JT having some Sabbath on his playlist during the Reportage era and I hoped for some music in the vein of "Snowblind" or "Rapid Fire" (Priest) or a touch of Moodies-like mellotron. "Growing up I was not a fan of any of the local groups .. the first generation of Brummie bands I rated were UB40, Fashion, Dexy's and The Beat. But now I'm a grown up .. well, who can deny some of the greatest hard rock of all time? Early Sabbath for sure .. Half of Led Zep we can own, which is better than 100% of most bands. Oh and Slade .. one of the greatest '70's bands. From Wolverhampton. Close enough... JT"
