Today, here in London, we are all together in a recording studio with Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson, working on some new songs for our forthcoming album. The excitement in the room is palpable. We are preparing to unleash our new life form in spring next year.

It has been a little while since we last toured, around two years ago, but we thought we would share this memento with you, from July 6th 2012, when we played a show in Thessaloniki, Greece. That evening was the 40th anniversary of David Bowie’s first performance of "Starman" on the UK TV show, "Top of the Pops." Everyone in the band remembers seeing this show, and we have all greatly appreciated David Bowie as an artist ever since. So, a couple of hours before going on stage, we decided on an impulse to learn "Starman" and play it in the set as our own celebration. It is the only time we ever performed that song, here it is…

Happy Duran Duran Appreciation Day.

See you all soon,

Simon, Nick, Roger & John
