Duran Duran — “The Reflex,” “The Wild Boys” (1984); Notorious (1986); Astronaut (2004)

Rodgers worked on the 12” and 7” re-mix of “The Reflex” and that led to his producing “The Wild Boys” single, which was the only studio recording on Duran Duran’s live album, Arena. When it became time to work on Duran Duran’s next studio album, Rodgers helped the fragmentary group pull together an updated sound for Notorious, which included the singles “Notorious,” “Skin Trade,” and “Meet El Presidente” (known in the U.S. as “The Presidential Suite”). Drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Andy Taylor left the group, leaving John Taylor, Nick Rhodes, and Simon Le Bon to soldier on.
