So finally it has arrived.

September the 11th; that date with so much attached to it.

And in 2015 we lay our own claim upon it.

Because Ladies & Gentlemen, today we are pleased to announce the launch of our fourteenth studio album, released in its glorious entirety.

So please give us your attention and listen to:

PAPER GODS

If there was one word to sum up what this record means to us, it is - commitment.
John, Nick, Roger & myself put everything we have to give into this work for you.
When we began back in 2013, we soon realised that we were going to have to dig deep into the soul of Duran Duran. And about a year on in, we started getting down to the good stuff.

And we have had some very fine assistance in the process. As well as the usual team: Dom Brown; Anna Ross; studio engineer Josh Blair. We have enjoyed working with fellow Midlander, Mr Hudson; the extremely talented Mark Ronson; and our true friend of long-standing - Nile Rodgers.

Once John Frusciante had completely upped the ante with his magnificent guitar work, the gates were open, and invited guests: Janelle Monae, Keisza, Jonas Bjerre and Davidé Rossi helped us bring the musical concepts out of our collective subconscious, and into the twenty first century. And then there is Lindsay, who deserves a special mention. Nobody else could have done for DANCEOPHOBIA what you did girl. For that you'll be in our hearts forever!

With this record Duran Duran reaffirms our faith in the long-form recording format, popularly known as 'the album'. We fully expect you to have and play your favourite tracks; you will change the order; you will put the songs into playlists & compilations. But if you have the time, and the inclination, please spare us the fifty or so minutes that it takes and listen to PAPER GODS from its opening note to its closing echo. I promise that you will not be disappointed.

What once was ours, now belongs to you. We hope you love it as much as we do.
